R and R

Jesus and His buddies had it made in one sense. No planes, no cars no high speed internet connection. When they moved from one town to another, they could walk through fields, skim stones into the lake, have a bar-be. In other words they could rest between feeding frenzies and miracle crusades. Life was lived at a different pace. Now they had their own particular set of problems. No flush toilets, showers, fast food places, Irish League football and not a lot of money. But they seemed to have a rhythm of work, rest, play and prayer.
All that to say we're going on a well earned family holiday to France for two weeks. Yes, all the four girls are coming and various husbands, fiancees and friends. But it's MY holiday and I will lie by the pool, eat good food, read, get time to think and be with the people I love. So no blog for two weeks.
