Last night in the House of Lords a Bll was passed to impliment and confirm legislation regarding discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation. It really extended the law against discrimination in the work place to goods and services.
What this means is that if anyone requests that you rent them your premises [providing you let rooms for rental] you cannot refuse them on the grounds of their sexual orientation.
There was a protest outside Parliament by some Christian ,Jewish and Muslim Groups.
Storm in a tea cup or over my dead body stuff?
First of all let's be careful about intemperate langague. If we disagree about something, let's not engage in name calling or come at it in a violent spirit. It really does more harm than good to the gospel if we look like religious fanatics. I've always been concerned about the way people "go" at things. Let's have passion but come at it in the opposite spirit.
Where you have hatred show love, violence show peace...you know what I mean.
