Happy Birthday

Last Sunday I celebrated 20 years in "paid full time ministry." The Church did a presentation and Priscilla and I got a standing ovation at all three services. We were overwhelmed at the response and our own reaction was tearful!

It's been a fantastic 20 years and I get up every morning getting paid for what I always wanted to do. There must be few things in life as satisfying as getting to live out your dreams.

The people in CFC are Simply the Best. They have made those 20 year a joy and I mean that. My heart goes out to all the ministers and their wives who have been treated badly.

As Bill Hybils once said "When the local Church is working as God intended there is no place like it on earth. When it's not, there is no place like it on earth!"

There have been the odd hiccup of course and I am a wiser man for them [I hope].

It was all the sweeter to have my four daughters there. One of them [Amy] wasn't born when I started and she has always been a PK. [preacher's kid] They have been so supportive and I am so proud of them.

Priscilla and I on holiday tomorrow to Maui.

Somebody has to do it!

Twenty years in the Ministry! You deserve every one of those standing ovations; three bunches of flowers, and more than one medal. Your people appreciate your honesty and your humility. Here’s to the next twenty years! Enjoy Maui.

Wow Paul & Priscilla congratulations!!! Pamela & I greet you from warm Los Angeles (not as warm as Maui!) We really miss CFC (our Euro Church) alot & so do our children. GOD really has used you both to build a great bride congregation in the midst of a broken nation! We still appreciate the time we had in our home before we left...that spoke volumes of why GOD blesses the meek, & humble who will inherit the earth. Enjoy inheriting Maui....and may the great wells of Ireland's history spring in salvation revival!!! MAKE THE CROOKED WAY STRAIGHT!

PS we were at a crazy awesome meeting with Heidi Baker speaking at Azusa Street past Sunday. Someone you think is related to Jar Jar Binks was there too ...man that is messed up so it is ...so it is...ahh I miss Ireland ...so I do...so I do! Tell CFC hi for us! Our bog is generationwon.org
