Winners and Losers

Well it's true! Football's a funny old game. I just watcted my team wack our city rivals 3-0 in the first cup final of the season. What joy. But you know, I did feel sorry for the losing team as they waited to pick up their runner-up medals. Their fans had all but disappeared and as they walked off it was to derisory cat calls from the winner's fans.
They played their hearts out but it hadn't been their day. Better luck next time...not.
I can generally cope with my team losing but I can't stand having my nose rubbed in it by the opposition fans. But in football it kinda goes with the territory.
Why do we always see life and people in general as winners and losers? Can't we all be winners?
I became a winner the day I met Jesus and the great news of Christmas is that with him in your life you could be a winner too.
