HOW YOU CAN HELP
STANDING ORDER FORM GIFT AID FORM
Christian Fellowship Church aims to handle its finances with integrity and openness and to use the money God gives us to provide resources both locally and abroad. Our accounts are professionally audited and are available to anyone wishing to see them.
As a church we believe that all good things come from God and it is He who gives us the ability to earn money. All that we have belongs to Him. The Old Testament presents tithing, the giving of 10% of our income to the church, as a norm. The New Testament talks more about giving generously, although Jesus does mention tithing. We would ask everyone in the church to consider what they should give.
Donations can be made via the offering on a Sunday, by Standing Order, charity voucher or sent in to the office.
If you would like a 'Standing Order' form please click here for a downloadable version, otherwise please contact the office.
We can recover tax from the government via the Gift Aid scheme and are able to claim back £0.28p for every £1 given. To do this, taxpayers need to fill in a simple form. This is of great benefit to us as a church, enabling us to recoup thousands of pounds each year. If you are a tax payer and would like your contributions to CFC to have the maximum benefit possible, please click here for a downloadable version of the Gift Aid form. Otherwise please contact the Accounts Office in church on 028 9067 4845.
If you have already filled out a Gift Aid form and decide to give one pound or more in cash on a Sunday, please consider using a tithes and offerings envelope, which you will find at the Information Desk at the back of the main church. This will make your offering even more valuable to the church.
Sometimes at a Sunday meeting we have special offerings where the money given goes directly to a specific project. Recently, for example, a special offering was taken for those affected by last year’s tsunami and distributed to various aid organizations with whom we already have relationship.
If you have any question about the church finances or would like to talk to someone about giving, please call Garath Baxter on 028 9067 4851 or speak to one of the elders.
It is through the generosity of all those who give to CFC that we are able to finance all the ministries and activities of our church.
Thank you.
