FRIDAY 19TH MAY - OLD TESTAMENT PART 2: THE PROPHETS-
Well tonight really was blown by the wind of the spirit! Adrian ditched his talk to allow God to move in and challenge us about what makes us different as a youth group and how important it was to build things that God's spirit could work within. Free bottles of water all round as we drank to remind ourselves that we would not forsake the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Spent a great time praying and hearing from God about TROYTOY - and the next stage. Again somehting we don't want to keep doing if God's not in there. We'll be posting some thoughts about TROYTOY on the forum space. Keep an eye out.

FRIDAY 12 MAY - ACTIVITIES NIGHT
Venue: Sports Hall and basement
Remember OTT hall nights? well this was even better!! We had Paul Francis down running a super 5 a side footy competition. Great show of girls for that too!! There was also a bit of old school 'ladders' being played and some crazy games to get both sides of your brain a work-out. We had some hardcore girls on the dancemats in the basement and a few challenges going out there to the boys on those!!
the less energetic opted for snooker, board games tuck shop and well I think most of you sampled one of our yummy milkshakes. Everything from creme eggs to smarties were going in that blender as well as some odd mixes with chocolate and strawberry!!
thanks to all of you who came along and brought your mates... and you never know, we might do it all again sometime!!!

FRIDAY 5TH MAY - OLD TESTAMENT PART ONE
We kicked off our first series of our last term without our fantastic 16+ planning team who are all off studying for big exams.
We got a great overview from Adrian on what actually is in the old testament and then we had a great journey through a multi sensory tabernacle experience. As we drew into the holy of holies at the end of that journey we ended with some powerful worship with Dan the man and Aaron Hill leading us. A really different night - some of you have never been that quiet for so long!!! But a real night to remember.
